The Basics of Faith

This sermon explores the foundational truths of our Christian identity, reminding us that despite our struggles, failures, and ongoing battles with sin, we are God's dearly beloved—righteous, forgiven, and sealed in Christ. We examine how our salvation is secured in the hands of Jesus at the right hand of God, where no accusation from Satan can touch it. This message challenges us to move beyond our micro-identities (our roles, occupations, and circumstances) and embrace our primary identity as new creations in Christ. We were reminded of our five-fold purpose: worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission, and called to live boldly in the power and authority God has given us through faith in Jesus Christ.
